Someone came over who had faced many failures in life. He called himself a total failure. His wife cursed him, his entire family cursed him, his kids cursed him and his business was closing down. So he cried and then started cursing everyone else. Along with that, he opened a list of complaints, how his wife had been a bad wife, how his father did not support him in settling down financially, how his wife spoiled his kids and now how they were so much against him, how his family was not taking care of him and it was going on. Finally when he had said all, I asked him, what he had done for himself? It is his life what was he doing?Why everyone else should do things for him? Why they have to pay his bills always? When he would take responsibility of his own life? He had no answers. He could improve his life only when he took charge of himself.
This life is like a play ground. You can either become a hero and play on the ground or you can become a spectator and comment from the window. You can watch others playing the game of your life and you can keep commenting. Or you can step down, enter the game, play it and in that case you would not have time to comment, you would be busy playing your own match.
If you start playing own match, you will become a hero who would be loved, admired and everything else, but if you would be a spectator, you can keep watching what others are doing or not doing and keep commenting. But in that case you would never have a life of a hero. You would never get the rewards of being a hero. Infact you would end up paying ticket price to watch the match of own life.
It is your choice, whether you want to be a hero or a spectator? I would say play your own match. Give it all you have. Walk out holding your head high. When you play it, it is not about winning or losing. It is about you are in the game! So be in the game. Create a life. Do something and everything!
