Few stories and people they never die and they never grow old. They are young forever with all of us. Sant kabir is one of them and his stories to guide us. So it happened, once Narad Muni visited him and asked him, how much time do you spent with God in worshipping him everyday. Kabir said, Go and ask God. So next day, he returned saying, your name is lowest in the list of people who love God. kabir smiled and did not say anything. As usual he was busy serving people. So next day again Narad Muni came and said today I picked up another list, whom does God love most and Kabir’s name was on top.
I idealize Kabir and this story so much! We can keep spending eternity sitting in front of Idol and may not achieve anything but when we serve others with pure heart, we connect with God. He is present in everyone and everything. He is present in every creature. If you really want to love him, love his people, love his creation. It is like your child comes and shows you some doodles and you love that because it is created by your child. You would accept his friends, you would accept everything unconditionally because your child loves all of them. Similarly, he loves all but how many of us love him back. Keep a pure heart, serve his people to serve him. If you really want to become one with God, have his heart. You do not need anything else. Few days back, one gentleman shared his story and I love listening stories and experiences. He was going on the road and he saw an accident. He stopped his car, took that person to the hospital, informed his family, supported them financially and everything else. Few days later, he was out and his son had an accident. His son reached hospital on time, some people on the road took him there. Everything was taken care of and his son recovered so quickly from a major accident. He wondered if this is how God was paying him back.
So the lesson is, keep doing and do not worry how it will be paid back. Atleast you will receive his love, you will receive love from his creation and everything that is a part of this creation. Its a beautiful world, see from the eyes of love.
