यदा यदा हि धर्मस्य ग्लानिर्भवति भारत।
अभ्युत्थानमधर्मस्य तदात्मानं सृजाम्यहम् ॥4-7॥
परित्राणाय साधूनां विनाशाय च दुष्कृताम् ।
धर्मसंस्थापनार्थाय सम्भवामि युगे युगे ॥4-8॥
Krishna said to Arjuna that in every Yuga, I keep taking birth to re-establish dharma.
However, I have always felt that whenever we are doing anything, that supports Dharma, Krishna becomes an instant partner. He will guide you, hold your hand, will do things for you and everything will magically start happening. Yes, like the Divine himself is doing.
A few days back, I met a lady. She shared her experience. She said that, she has done both good and bad. And she has seen the result of doing both. Doing good is not only doing the right thing. It is about stepping out and start doing things for others rather than only for yourself. that’s when actual good starts happening. Doing the right thing is a basic necessity for a healthy living. That anyway cannot be compromised. If we compromise that, we are doomed. She shared that, she did some dishonest things, and she saw the result of that. She would take up a job and then she would lose and it and would not be paid. And when she started doing the right thing, she reached to a point where she did not get the job. The drain stopped. But still, she could not be in the right direction. And when she started helping others and doing things for others, that’s when her life started taking upturn. And after that when she started guiding small children about how to lead a right life and she started taking it upto mass level, her work started growing and she actually started growing. She felt the divine presence in her life and she felt that whatever she was intending, the divine was taking care of that.
But then what is Dharma? Is it the one in books? May be! But then actual Dharma is how a human being shall be. More than following rituals, howhe shall be as a human being. The God is found everywhere and he is found inside too. More we search him inside, more we find him. This is where the real dharma starts. Because when we find God, we always do the divine thing. that becomes our true nature. And yes, when we do the wrong thing, that also spreads and starts happening because that is supported by the darker side. However, we start getting into a never ending abyss. It’s upto us, we want to go up or down.
