Focus on improving yourself rather than finding others fault.

It’s very easy, we can keep talking about others, what they lack, what are their mistakes and it is very difficult to appreciate someone. It is very difficult to hear when someone else is being appreciated. Human mind is designed in a way that it is good to find out negatives more. But have we thought of that how it finds out negatives more? Because deep down, it is finding out faults in self. So the root is this fragile ego.

First we find out fault in self why because we do not know how to appreciate self also. Somewhere we have been given this negative training. Do not talk good about yourself. Do not worry about yourself. We are not given complete training. We are not trained for self love. Then we find fault in others. And what are we achieving in that> Wastage of precious time, energy, mind and we might end up hurting relationships also. After all, by thinking and saying bad things for others, we can never go up in life. But we we do that? Somewhere it satisfies ego and we do not realize that.

So what shall be done?
First write down own good things, so that mind can be trained to find good things. If your mind is pointing towards others follies, make an effort and find their good things. Train your mind to find good things. Now, see, how you can accept yourself as you are, it will help in accepting others. But most importantly, set your goals, how would you improve yourself. Focus your energy on improving yourself.

If you really take a step in that, see the change within yourself in few months.
