Lord Krishna gave us the way of life. He guided us himself on the path of righteousness. He never said follow what I am saying. He said follow what you know in your heart is saying. he said that you are the creator of own destiny. If you feel you are doing right, do it. Still if you go ahead and do things, which you do not feel are right, then also it is your life, your destiny. YOu get to choose what you do and then Universe gets to choose what is returned to you. Fair enough.
Few days back, one gentleman discussed his life story. HE shared that he always supported his wife, whatever wrong she was doing to his parents and family. Because he was scared that he would end up in a divorce other wise. He knew he was doing wrong. Whenever someone tried saying anything, he always said that he did not have any option. HE still did not wake up, when finally she asked his parents to leave his house on roads. They survived and he knew they would, but that’s not the point. Things hit him hard when all this started coming back to him. Due to his business losses, they had to sell the house which was given by his father, then he did not find a good rental to live in, so he had to adjust in a very small locality. He did not have enough money to feed his family and he missed those days, when his mother was forcefully overfeeding him. He realized all. He felt, life was unfair to give him a wrong wife!. But didn’t life give him an opportunity to choose on every step. Wasn’t the lesson about that? To choose what is right.
We cannot blame our inability to take right step on destiny. We all get to make choices. Do not choose what’s convenient. Life is always not that convenient. Choose what is right. What you know deep down is right. It is not about Karma returning to you, it is about following what should be done from your heart.
