She was complaining that no one loves her. I asked her why everyone should love you? Because they should. They should praise me, they should like me. I put in so many efforts to be liked. I dress up nicely. I can do this and that. But why should others like you? Means?
What have you done for others, that they shall like you? She had no answer.
Then how can they like me? Why do you want others to like you?
She had no answer. When she was growing up, she was always told, what would others think of you? When she dressed up, she was told how others would appreciate her. When she made some food, she was told that how others would be happy. She was never taught how she would feel. Second thing, they would like food not her in that case. They would like her dress not her in that case. When we speak well with love, when we serve others, then only others like us. Whys so? When you constantly think about yourself no one will like you. But when you serve others, they will love you. But in that scenario, what about my needs? What about what I want? Simple you give what others want and you will get what you want. First, we need to give, and then we would receive it.
Everyone follows light. Sun is a classic example of that. The sun burns itself to light up the entire Universe. It gives so much light that everything in this Universe is dependent on that light. No one can survive without that light. Entire system revolves around that. But Sun achieved that status by burning down itself.
Similarly, we achieve this status when we start burning down ourselves for others. Without that, no one would like to see. In fact, in the absence of light, it’s darkness. People would see only the dark side of us. When we give light people see light. When we do not give light, people see darkness.
So we need to forget ourselves, burn-down and start giving light.
How would that help?
When we serve others, it can remove any kind of darkness from life. It can remove any curse, any black-magic, any karmic affect or any other problem. It will keep washing away all the negativity. Entire Universe will start supporting.
