At the age of 30 he felt tired. He said that I feel it’s never ending. One responsibility comes in and goes and another is ready to knock the door. It’s like a never ending loop I am in.
At the age of 60 another gentleman shared the similar problem. he said that i am tired of life. At this age people get retired and I want to start focusing on my spirituality. But my responsibilities never end. I do not get time for anything which I want to add personally.
One 75 years old lady called up. She was crying. I asked her what happened. She said that her 55 years old son’s business was not doing well. His children are not treating him well. Her son was slipping into depression. She said that when it would end for her?
The answer is never or let’s say with death. Till the time we are here, our responsibilities, our challenges will never end. The only difference is they would come in different shape and sizes.
Earth is a land of karma and without Karma there is no purpose here. We can not escape from Karma. Even when Lord Rama or Krishna were here they had to do their Karma till the last day. Does not matter what kind of problem they had.
Another thing, we cannot wait for one thing for another. If we want to work on our spirituality or enlightenment or any other thing, any passion, any pending relationship, we need to work on those things now. One thing cannot wait for another.
If we want to feel peaceful, we need to find that peace right now, right here. We need to know this thing that this Earth is like a working place for us. Like our job. We all are here to work. If we have no work or if we do not want to do work, there is no place here for us. It is like if we are in a job and we do not want to work, what is the purpose of being in that job. The boss would say, go back home. It is same way here.
So do your work, do your karma, find your peace right now. Accept your chaos right now. Love your life right now. Do not wait for storm to get settled because if it does, another is coming in. We need to find a way to control the ship amidst storm to keep it afloat. If we wait for storm to settle down and then the ship would become strong and peaceful, we would drown. We need to stay strong and peaceful amidst the storm of life.
