I get so many people who have relationship problems. Mother and son, husband and wife, two brothers, friends and all types. The problems come where we have maximum love. We do not have problems in the relationships, where there is no love. But then how it happened?
So I asked someone, do you love your daughter and the answer was, there is no mother in the world who does not love her child. I did not ask this question. I know all mothers love their children most. i am a mother too. If something happens to my child, I do not sleep for nights. But my question was do you love your daughter? She did not say anything. If you do not love her, then why do you want to mend your relationship with her which has been scarred over the years? She said, yes, I love my daughter and that is why I want to talk to her. And how difficult was it to answer a simple question, if you love her or not? If yes, then say yes and if no then say no. Is it ego which is holding it back? She accepted. Few years back, things happened and they stopped talking to each other.
I wonder we want love, we want loving relationships and we nurture ego. If we nurture ego, how can we have loving relationships.
Most of the husband wife cases are ego issues. Why he said so, he did not listen to me, he listens to his mother more, why she is not doing that, why she is talking to her friends all the time etc.
Its simple. Everything in life is like an empty cup. What ever we pour in, we can pour out. If we pour in ego, we would get ego. We cannot have love. If we pour in love, we will have love to drink from it.
In all your relationships, start adding more love. Start nurturing love. When you are thinking, think from the perspective of love not ego. When accuse someone, think of love you share. When you want to win an argument, think of love. When you stop talking to someone, think of love.
Nurture your life with love. Nurture your relationships with love.
