Again and again I keep culminating about what we are thinking. Our happiness, quality of life, relationships, everything depends on what we are thinking. Met a lady, she had been divorced 15 years back and she was cursing all the men in the Universe. In her mind, I realized she was suffering and she was holding whole community against herself. In past 15 years she had met many men, but she just could not forgive MEN! In another case, one gentleman was cursing all the brothers and he was warning everyone of working with brothers. BEcause his brother had cheated him in business. Now, he had a new business which was doing fairly well. But he was still holding years old grudge and suffering in his mind.
There might be reasons which we feel are justified enough to hold on to that anger. We may feel, we have suffered, we may feel someone is responsible for all that, we may feel we are proving to others that we were not wrong, we may want to prove ourselves right, we may feel no one has heard us but the truth is we have to let it go and stop suffering.
Whatever might be the Universal reason for that suffering, learning lessons, better life coming, past karma, whether the other person has caught up with karma yet or not, we need to let it go. We need to start looking forward.W e need to stop suffering in mind.
So now, the big question is how shall we do that?
First of all take a decision.
Now, stop repeating that in your mind.
Stop adding those stories to one story.
If you can hire a professional counsellor to deal with pain do that.
Whenever it comes to your mind, create a better story around that. Like after that I have done so well, because of that I am doing so good in next step.
Take a decision to forgive.
Creating a better story will help you in knowing that you are no longer suffering.
Be grateful for what is there right now.
Create a better future in mind.
Create a better life. Stop suffering in your mind.
