He was hard working and had a vision but somewhere he started being dishonest in his business. He started cheating on his customers. His business was growing very fast and he thought he would earn faster. For one year, he earned more than he should have as he was doing things which he should not have done and then one day, he incurred losses. Within two months his business stopped. He wondered what wrong did he do. Then for a few years, whatever he started failed. He faced a very tough time financially. His wife kept telling him the reason behind this downfall and he did not agree. One day, his friend cheated him and he cursed his friend saying, if you cheat others, you would never grow. This was the moment of self-realization which he was avoiding. He started a new business, this time he prayed for the success and in his heart, he promised God to stay honest. This time it took him longer than the previous time but he made it. he stayed honest, worked hard and in 3-4 years, his business started flourishing. He wanted to grow and he did.
Whenever someone shares his experience, I feel so grateful to God for taking me to different journeys and teaching me along. It’s so heartwarming to learn and grow with everyone.
Now, when someone asks the secret of success I always have few things:
- Ethics. (Biggest of companies have fallen when they lacked ethics)
- Honesty
- Good intentions
- Hardwork
- Vision clarity (Where you want to be)
- Serving the society along (Tithing/charity)
- Not getting scared when the work starts growing
- Getting organized for success
- Be prepared
- Persistence
