One gentleman was talking bad about this world and how good he is. He was also boasting about how he was keeping himself safe from any negativity around you. I was listening to him quietly and may be he wanted my comment or may be he was just seeking my approval. So he asked, what do you think? I smiled and said that as per me, this world is a beautiful place and everyone is beautiful and this world is a reflection of who we are. So everywhere, all you see is something bad, then you actually have to look inside what’s there. It is not possible to have everything bad outside and nothing bad inside. He did not like my answer. I told him further that it is not about what we tell to others, it is about what we are telling to ourselves. If we can do a fair evaluation of everything. We can tell to everyone that I have been very good, it may satisfy our ego but it would be a lie. He did not say anything but may be something got stuck with him. After few days, he called up and asked, what could he do?
I asked him about how he felt? He accepted while he was hating this world, he hated everyone including his family. While hating everyone, he realized that he did not love anyone. HE accepted that his relations were very far. he was always criticising everyone and people were staying away from him. He did not love anyone and no one else loved him. How he could be happy if there was no love in his life? Infact when he started thinking from this perspective he started feeling lonely and depressed. he shared that he was lonely and he felt jealous of friends who were moving in social circles and as he was jealous, he told himself that they are doing bad things and they were faking happiness. It was to satisfy his ego and he was stuck in a vicious circle.
Change happens, when you simply accept things. He started changing himself and he realized that people were not bad. He started focusing on others good things , which made him find his own good things too. He was feeling better, people around him were feeling better with him, they wanted to be with him, his family was feeling better and everything started becoming more loving and positive. He did not feel bad now about the world.
Now, the next question was, how would it make a better world? I explained. it’s a chain reaction. When you started healing yourself, these people started becoming better. Now, they will make everyone around them further better. You have just initiated a chain of better things in this Universe. He understood and we all did too.
