My friend came over fee days back and she shared her story. She shared that how after delivery, she had to face toughest time of her life. Her husband’s business was not doing well, so she had to step in financially also. How she was managing home, child and finances. All this was happening when she hardly had any strength in her body. She could barely stand but everyday she had to get up with new strength to take care of everything. My mouth was wide open and I knew what she was talking being a woman. I know that she was exposed to the toughest times when she was most vulnerable and she needed all the care and support of the world and she had to step out to support others. So I asked her, how everyday she gathered herself?
She smiled and said it was not easy but I was able to handle things as everyday I would tell myself, God is your strength, God is your source. I would close my eyes and say, I need more strength. I need more sources. She shared that it was tough but still she was grateful that everything was getting managed. Baby was fed on time, household work was done, her emails were answered, clients were satisfied. She was getting more work also, so that she could manage her home in terms of finances. I asked her, if she felt jittery?
She nodded yes and said yes, especially, when one assignment was completed and she felt that how would she manage? Then she reminded herself that God is her source not this client. This client was also sent by God. Within few days, she always got new ones.
It’s so beautiful. God is my source. God is my strength. So get eternal sources and eternal strength.
So if we can all remember I am sure we can sail through toughest of times, whether they are physically testing or financially testing. We will explore the immense strength inside ourselves.
I just want to say, Thank you God, thank you for being there and taking care of each one of us. Thank for loving us all. Thank you for being our strength. Thank you for guiding us, protecting us.
