Two cases came. One lady was feeling very scared. Her sister was scaring her on the name of God and was taking out money. making her do things which she was feeling she would not do otherwise. There was nothing malicious but it was like forcing her to visit more temples, giving more charity to the places of her interest, scaring her more if someone fell sick in her family etc. I always told her one thing, she should do, only whatever she could do with happiness not with fear. Doing something out of fear has no value. It should be out of love. God belongs to everyone and he knows everyone’s core. he won’t feel bad, if you visited less temples. Infact he would be happy that you are taking care of your family because this is the prime responsibility given to you.
In another case, a gentleman was always doing notorious things (His family background had a history of abundance and religious rituals etc) He always said that God is on my side and I can do anything. His father did not say anything out of son’s love. (Such love is more like an enmity as you are not guiding your child for right or wrong. In longer run you are harming him more.) So God belongs to everyone equally, not a special favor to someone who was coming from the family of religion followers. He fell sick and developed terrible skin disease. He did not want to go out, get touched or anything. He knew why it was coming to him because he had hurt so many people. It took him a long time to recover.
God is not extra on your side because you say so. He is also not leaving your side because others are saying so. He belongs equally to everyone. He loves each one of us equally. For him everyone is his creation and he is responsible for everyone.
If you are doing wrong, you will face wrong. If you are doing good, you will have good. If you love him, he loves you back. he is eternal part of you, always there with you.
