So the question was, what is bigger mistake? To try and fail or not to try and not fail? Won’t we increase number of failures this way?
We might have more number of failures or more percentage of failures if we try a lot and we fail a lot. But if we look back into the history and see how many trials and failures the most successful people had, we would know, what made them successful was their tendency to try and tendency to accept failures.
I wonder why we are given such a conditioning to win at every cost and not to lose at any cost? Why aren’t we trained on failure as a part of the process?
But first let’s learn few things!
Why are we here? I mean why are we here on Earth?
Just to take birth, fulfil our Karmic obligations and then die? That’s it? Then why all these big messengers or God had to go through so many things? krishna, Rama, Jesus and many more. What do we actually take from here? We are told that we brought nothing and we will take nothing from here. No it’s wrong. We brought our wisdom which we have gained in many lives and we will take further our wisdom to next life.
The moment we are born, we start learning and we keep learning till the end of our lives. The moment we stop learning we stop growing. Infact the first purpose of this life is to learn. That’s why, as soon as someone is little independent like age 3, the person or the child is sent to school. Go and learn before you do anything else in life. That’s why we spend so much on schooling which we would not spend any where else. That’s the importance of education. It assists us in completing the prime purpose of this birth.
Even in our Karmic obligation, what we learn is more important. And if we have not learned any thing even after our sufferings, we have failed the purpose of that karmic cycle. It will repeat until the lesson is learned.
Now, why all this is important? So that we can learn and grow. So that we are not afraid of trying. So that we are not afraid of failing. because even if we fail and lose, we have not failed and lost et all. because we have come closer to the prime purpose of taking birth. We have learned. And if we do not try and we have not failed, we have lost an opportunity to fulfil the purpose of taking birth. To learn.
So the wisdom we gain, no matter what the circumstances, is the most important treasure of all. Because it is the prime purpose of taking birth. It is the treasure which we will carry with our soul to the next life and to many lives afterwards.
