His father was a big businessman. He was always told that he had to match his father’s standards. Everyone’s constant comments made him check himself always. He always wondered if he would be able to do. He kept working hard also for the same reason but could never build his confidence. He did well in his business degree and whatever else he did but still he did not trust himself. He always felt that He could not match his father’s achievements. He always tried doing better and achieve more to gain everyone’s approval but he heard similar things like see, your standards have to be high. Look at your father.Finally the day came and he joined his father’s business. His first deal itself turned out to be a huge loss to the company which shattered his little confidence. He stopped going to office and then first time his father spoke to him.
His father realized his fear and how much his son had suffered all these years under his shadow. His father took him to own cabinet and showed own certificates and told him that his son had always scored more than what he himself had scored at that age. However, he never compared himself with anyone. When we compare, we ruin own grace. Everyone is made unique. And everyone is blessed with some quality. Even if he would not be able to do business, he would be designed to do something better in life. GHe needs to find that something. And if he wanted to do business, do not do it with the fear of losing, do it with the passion to create and grow. So his father asked him to come up with own business plan with no money. With no support of his father. He asked, if he could use the resources he has like internet etc which he was allowed. He started researching and made an online company. He contacted other businesses as he knew many and started marketing for them online. Soon his business grew and he worked hard. He did not leave any stone unturned. He knew what he was capable of. He knew he was good. He knew he did not have to be better, he knew he just have to be himself now. Now, his family started talking about him!
People see destination, not the journey behind it. They can never see what you do not see in yourself. They can see, only if you have seen.
