One friend called up. He was very worried and he said that I am unable to do anything. i am worried and I cannot sleep. I might be in a funny mood and I told him, you like to be worried. take a break or give your worries a break. They would be happy. They would not mind it. And it turned out to be true. He asked the duration and I jokingly said one week. And he did it. He came back laughing saying, I realized my worries were like a Soap opera. There was no change even after a week. So if I keep worrying that is inside me, it is not making any positive change to my life. Infact, I have been losing sleep and health.
I loved his statement when he said that it is like a soap opera. Even if you miss couple of episodes straight, nothing will change. So start missing out on the own soap opera of your life. You will get time to do many things in life. Like in the break, we run and finish many things, when we take a break from own worries, we can run and finish many things. If nothing, we can catch up on lots of sleep or watch movies or meet friends or take a walk or just have fun.
So can we do it?
We need to know
We do not have to take care of the burden of entire world on our delicate shoulders. It is not on us. May be it is on the creator’s shoulders and let him handle.
We do not have to worry about what others are thinking or saying. We do not have to worry about, how they felt bad on our actions and reactions in past and how could we have acted in one past situation.
We can stop fretting over having a better past in thoughts.
We do not have to worry too much about future by putting so many calculations and probability statements. If it’s fine, then let it be and chill.
We need to add some time for relaxation and fun too.
We need to simply sleep.
We do not have to be perfect and we do not have to worry about creating a perfect life.
We can be genuine and authentic and after that we can give ourselves some relaxation (I could do only this much kind )
Be happy, be peaceful. You will be able to do more things.
