For eleven years he had been fighting one problem after another. He lost his mother at the age of 28, then he lost his father next year. He got married and next day his wife left saying, he did not teat her well. She charged him huge amount of money. He wondered what wrong he had done. He wondered if she had married him for money. He called up and he said that I want to cry, but it’s hurting my ego to cry. I asked him to release all the emotions. He started crying and shared that he used to be such a strong person, and he would not bother about anyone. Now everything scares him. He feels that the whole world is after him. He feels that he must have done terribly bad, that’s why he became an orphan at the age of 28 and then his divorce thing happened. What wrong he must have done in life, and his pride is shattered.
I asked him if his pride is shattered, if he wants to replace it with something else. He wondered what could be replaced in its place. And the answer was love. Pride gave him strength but with the blows of life, it created fear. Love would only bring that strength from inside and that will never go. Love will bring the trust, which will never go away. It was not the love from a partner as he had lost that faith also. The love which will come from within. Which will help him in connecting with the divine within. He sat and focused on love and asked how he would be, if he was not fearful. How he would love people, how would he do his work, how he would talk to people. He started getting all the answers. It was love had become his master. He started supporting his younger brother, and he was able to handle his father’s business also. Within, one year, he was back on his feet, doing fine business and known his circle as a strong man, honest man, stable man. More and more people wanted to be his friends. He wondered, if it was love or it was him. Or may be he had become love or may be love was his teacher.
He grew when he followed love, and he let love guide him. He fell when he followed ego. Love gave him a strength, which he never thought he had.
Let love guide you.
