I love sunflowers. They are big and bright and they follow light. Apart from their beauty, they have numerous health benefits. Anyway, when I look at them I feel so much kindness. They absorb light, they grow big and in whatever form they are used, they benefit. Starting from their outer look to their seeds, they are of use. When I look at them, I feel God’s love, which we have received in various forms. Then I wonder, how can we spread it further and I realized that the only way to spread God’s love is by being kind. By being of use in every possible way. We do not have to do everything. We just have to do whatever we are doing in the kindest way.
I was sitting in the park and I was feeling sad because of the situation around. When I am sad, I do tell my daughters that I am upset. The reason could be any if they are not the reason, I do tell them that. So my one daughter came to me, held my hand, kissed me on my cheeks and asked if i was feeling better. She was very kind and I realized, I could feel God in her eyes. Then I realized that God’s love spread with kindness. She did not have to do much, she just has to be a child in a kind way. We all have to do whatever we are doing, in a kind way and we will start spreading his light. This love has to shine irrespective of what’s happening around.
We do not need to do anything special. We can. But at least we can start being kind. We can talk to people with love. Kindness makes us believe in God’s love when someone else is kind to us. When we are kind to someone else, we spread his love. We spread the faith in God’s love and his presence. We all become his messenger when we follow love and kindness.
Be kind. Spread your love. Spread his love. Do not feel that if your contribution will make a difference. Always know that every drop will make a difference.
