“Karmanye vadhikaraste Ma Phaleshu Kadachana,Ma Karma Phala Hetur Bhur Ma Te Sango Stv Akarmani”
This is one of the most famos verse of Bhagwad Gita. Which says, keep putting your efforts, without looking at the results. The results will come as per God’s desire. Surrender the results to him.
This one guides us to work sincerely when we desire something. However, these days, I see totally reverse.
People want to achieve without even working for it. They want it quickly. They want it even before anything has been done.
She wanted to receive family’s love and affection, and she wanted everyone to serve, but she did not want to contribute any efforts for them. The result was the negativity between them. Eventually everything fell apart. However, what was saddening was her health. She wanted evertone to take care of her. She reached to a stage, where everyone was taking care of her. However, this is had made her reach bed all the time. She could not even walk properly. She wanted results but she did not want to do her karma.
He wanted to become rich but had no patience and desire to work for it. He was always comparing himself with people who had received all the money as an inhertance. he started doing lots of illegal activities saying, it’s his right to have this money. Eventually, all the money was taken by some other partner and he landed up in jail for the fraud.
He took a lot of loan from the friends and bank with no intention of returning it. He thought of living like a king. However, in the end days, he had no money left and his health had gone down. People used to feel sad for him but no one knew what brought all this.
I wonder, why do we want something without having worked for it. And what’s the problem in working for it and then working harder. Why do we have to compare with someone else having it before us.
This Earth is a land of Karma and this body is a vehicle to carry out the Karma. If we do not use our time, energya nd body to perform our Karma, we start failing the purpose of taking birth. Do your karma sincerely and honestly and everything shall come. Believe in your own karma.
I remember a gentleman, who did not make any money for the 15 years of his career. he worked very hard. HE always used to say, my working hours are a deposit in God’s account. When I will receive, I will receive big. And he did. He became a billionaire.
So work and work, this body is given for that.
