Few friends came over to meet. Everyone was sharing something. Most of them were sharing about their lives, husbands, mothers-in-law, which is fine. Then one old one started sharing about almost everyone from the school lass. She shared what all bad they had in their lives. For some time I did not realize I had started feeling irritated. Then suddenly I asked her, why are we talking about people who are not even here. Why are we discussing something which is such a waste of time? She was zapped and felt humiliated. Then what else can we talk about was her next question.
Yes, we can talk about many things like what’s your plan in the future. What’s your kid’s plan in the future. What can we do to make our own lives better? If we start asking progressive questions, I am sure we will start progressing.
So how can we improve our lives?
Well, the first step is by improving our thought process. We need to stop thinking about what’s bad. Whether it’s in someone else’s life or own life. The more we think about the bad, the bad is growing and expanding. This is how energy works. Whatever we are thinking, we are a magnet for that.
If we think we have no faults, we have no problems, then we are really mistaken. We need to start working on that. We need to start seeing a better picture of ourselves and then what is required for that.
We will never improve by finding faults in others. This may satisfy our ego. We can only improve when e start working on ourselves. We need to decide what will make us better. From where we will get better energy. What will improve our lives.
