Yesterday, someone was sitting with me and when we were
discussing about an old issue and how one person went bonkers on a small issue,
the person was surprised. He said can anyone react like this? Can anyone even
think like this? How can people in world with such thought process even
survive? Well the truth is it’s a world of individualities. Everyone is unique
and everyone make this world more wonderful. However, if you do not know
something, for you that thing does not exist. One ant was living on the back of
an elephant and for her that was the world. For her, there was no world beyond
that. Before Galileo proved that Earth is round, people use to believe that this
Earth is flat and they use to turn their ships back after reaching to one point
thinking that they would fall. Because they had not thought about gravity and
Earth being round, they use to think they would fall. So for them that was the
reality of this world. One person who was born in a tribal area, who had never
seen 5 star hotels, use to think that world is only in jungles. There is no
world beyond jungles. When I was a small child, one person had come to our
place for some labour work. My sister in Law served him a sandwich which was
cooked and its corners had merged. He jumped on his seat and said that first

you want to know the vastness of this world, then step out of the comfort zone
you are living in. Do not be scared of exploring the world and knowing the
truth. Generally we believe in whatever we want to believe in and what serves
us instead of looking at the reality. However, the truth is much wider and
bigger and most importantly truth is always absolute. You cannot subtract or add
to the truth. If you are making an addition or subtraction, it won’t remain a
truth. So may be whatever we know up till now actually not a truth? May be that
is why everything is called an illusion. May be that is why we are asked to
rise above all the illusions? Think over, may be all these questions would help
us in taking us one step closer to truth!
