As soon as a child is born, he starts creating thoughts…this is mama, this is papa..he is so cute…I love you my baby and definitely he would grow p believing that…when he is little old..he is told this is not good, this is not bad and without knowing if this is true or false he starts believing..when he grows up further he keeps adding thoughts as per previous thoughts..I am not doubting the upbringing by parents…however, as soon as you tell someone that this is so and so, he forms an opinion and you take him away from the originality or the original nature..he just keeps creating thoughts..a flower is a flower is told by someone else…someone unknowledgeable may interpret something new and may give us a new aspect of something…in my class I asked kids to draw whatever they wish to…one 4 year old started making small rounds and when I asked him what he is doing he said its B..the structure resembled Flies so I thought he is so smart and was wowed..but he said its alphabet B and he had made whole drawing from Letter B.
When you want to study the true nature of something and even this world then stop thinking and just observe because thoughts influence you. When you want to solve a problem, study the problem first without implying your thoughts, become one with the problem and then you will be able to find the best solution. If you want to gain true knowledge about something, leave your thoughts aside and become one with that. If you think and observe, you will just add further thoughts. You need to reach to the stage of thoughtlessness for that and whatever is the technique, meditation itself is a technique to reach to the state. It lets you look inward, subside your thoughts and let you understand your true nature and this universe.
