Few days back, one gentleman came to me for counselling who is on the verge of filing for divorce. He thought, there cannot be any solution to his situation as his wife does not want to resolve the situation. He said he has decided to file for the divorce and he has come to me, so that I can help him in handling stress as it is affecting his physical health too. I asked him one question what he is learning from all this and he said, it must be a result of his past bad karma and I agree it must be as the theory is applicable but its incomplete without learning the lesson so we need to see what it is trying to teach him. After understanding his own emotions, he could realize that this entire system has taught him patience and not to react to situation. Instead of reacting he should take action. The moment he realized his lessons, his situation started improving. Another lady called up, who said Sheetal, I am relationship addictive and I want to break this because I keep jumping from one relation to another despite of being married and I build lots of insecurities when that new man is about to leave me. She also started working upon her emotions to realize her lessons and her lesson was to break the addiction and find the completeness within. Because everything is inside us and if we keep searching for it outside, we can never find it. Once she could find the completeness within, her insecurities were no longer there and she could resolve her relationship addiction. Any addiction is give to someone as a test, not to spoil the soul or to indulge, but to increase the strength of the soul so that it can overcome that addiction, whether it’s a relationship addiction or any other addiction like alcohol or Marijuana. It is to remove the dependency on something external and to find the completeness within. So whenever you are stuck in a situation always see, what it is trying to teach you, so that you can finish your lesson and move on or else you would be stuck in same pattern. Or else the situation would keep repeating. The Karma is to teach you not to punish you. Once you learn your lessons, the cyce completes.
