We all keep breathing and live an unaware life. We do not know for most of the actions we have taken that why did we act the way we did. We do not how our body is functioning and how our thoughts are moving. Most of the time instead of taking actions we just react and then we wonder why did I say or do the way I did. That is the life of complete unawareness. However, we can increase our awareness by analyzing why do we think the way we do. Which are our original thoughts, which are the thoughts which have entered from some other source, are we reacting or are we acting. If we watch every moment of the body then we stay aware and live in present and we get rid of all the unwanted thoughts which have been bothering us. Every moment will become a state of meditation as brain can focus on one thing at a time. Once you start becoming aware of self, you will be connected with yourself more and more. Once you will be connected with yourself more then you would realise you are no one. You will stop identifying with the big I and the ego would start dissolving. You would realise up til now you have just been embroiled in something which actually does not exist. There is no I, it is just the consciousness and this human body is just a medium. Once you stop identifying with the I, you will lose the awareness of existence of self. Once you lose that, you will realise the true I. It is as vast as this Universe. It is the Consciousness itself. You will see yourself in every being and everything. You will realise there is no difference between you and someone else or consciousness. You become truly aware of your existence after that. So you become aware of self to lose the awareness of self to find the true awareness of self. It is a journey to reach to true awareness. This is a journey from I to real I.
