Someone asked once what is self realization? And the answer is to know who you are.
So he started laughing and said that yeah..yeah..famous question…who am I?
So who am I? Ask yourself.
But do you know the answer.
Even if I know where would it matter? It would be like reading one more book, where we have already seen so many books on same topic. Everyone needs to have own experience. To know swimming the only option is to jump in the water. Moreover, does not matter how many books you read, you can learn swimming only when you have jumped into the water. Even if I would say few things, what difference would it make.
He did not want to give up and I told him that you must follow but still something was required. Everyone is a part of God and he was supposed to see God in everyone and every thing.
He came back after few days and he shared few experiences:
1. If everyone is a part of God, then my servant too and that is right. So I can’t shout at him or anyone.
2. If everyone is a part of God then I can’t cheat or lie to anyone.
3. If I would go to God with lots of surrender in my heart then how can I hold any ego in front of anyone. There would be a surrender to all.
All good going but then why part? How can we be a part of God!
He himself questioned and himself answered. God made us, from his own part, that’s how we can be his part like a mother is making her child from her part, so God conceived us. But in reality, there is no difference between the mother and the child too. That’s how this world continues. Old gives way to new. So god gave us a way but there is no difference.
As the child has all the properties of mother, we also have. A human being is born to a human being, an elephant is born to an elephant, a plant is born from a plant, so if we are born from God then we are God too!
That’s it! That’s the thing we need to know and realize. We are God from God.
His quest continued and so does ours!
