So whenever we meet a new person, either we had planned it or we had not, we meet him/her with lots of expectations. It could be either professionally or personally. Now there might be 3 scenarios, first that person meets your expectations, other is he/she does not and third is he/she is beyond your expectations. Lets take all of them, that persona meets your expectations right now as you have met him/her for sometime, you feel happy and you feel its going to be good. However, as you start to get to know the person, you feel you had expected something else and it turned out to be something else, you start changing the image and may be you start drifting away. Now the second scenario is that person does not meet your expectations in this case anyway you loose a chance to get to know him/her. Third scenario is similar to the first one and you feel mesmerized and than things change as you get to know the person.
In all these cases, the person isn’t even aware of your expectations, some people try to prove and may go overboard and some may have attitude of I do not care. However, you fail the people as you think they do not meet your expectations. Now the big question here is, did you meet the person or your expectations? Everyone is unique and has own individual identity. Why do you want to impose your expectations on someone else? When you meet someone, meet with open mind so that you can actually meet the person and can get to know him/her. Than only you would know whom you are meeting otherwise you would always have a prejudiced mind. You would never give a fair chance to the opportunity to meet different kind of people.
