He was a doctor and made it big. He was always genuine and people respected him. He was successful and famous in his city. He divided his property equally between his two sons. The younger one, who was a doctor too, fought for more. He said that the elder one is a businessman and eventually would have more. But the father did not listen to anyone and distributed equally. The younger one’s properties were sold gradually and the elder one’s properties became double in pricing. The elder one was prospering and the younger one was going down. Finally, one day came when the father was retiring. So he first went to live with the younger one, thinking he would be able to support more. But younger one took it as a burden and did not treat his father well. Finally a day came when the father walked out and went to the elder one. The elder one respected his father a lot and treated him well. As Karma would have it, elder one started flourishing more and the younger one started getting into more problems like health issues etc. The younger one had financial issues and he started having health issues too. He wondered what wrong he had done in life and what good his brother had done in life.
Well, the younger one had little dishonest intentions from the beginning as he was asking for unfair share in the property. The abundance of health and wealth comes in as per our intentions. Still life gave him an opportunity to improve everything when his father decided to stay with him. He saw that as a burden. Life gave him an opportunity to set everything right when his father moved in and he did not use that. Infact he chose a path which was further darker.
Whenever in life, you have an opportunity to do right thing, do the right thing. Set the right intentions. Play it with honesty. Play it with love. Life will keep improving.
