What you think about yourself is more important than what others think

He called up, working in a big organization, working at a senior level but always wondering, what others are thinking of him, what people under him are thinking of him, always getting snubbed and he was feeling that people were taking un due advantage of him, valuing him less and respecting him less. Now, how do you know that? IS that is your assumption or someone has said so? Is that your fear that people will value you less or respect you less if you do not do what they asked you to do? He did not know any answer. So I asked him, what do you think of yourself?

He had no answer. So there is a void and you are trying to fill that void with your assumptions as you do not know how you can know it? So you have fears because of the void. Now that is like walking on the edge of a valley. It cannot be filled, so you always fear falling down.

So now, you need to answer few questions:
Do you like yourself for who you are?
Do you accept yourself for who you are?
Do you respect yourself?
Do you value yourself?

If you do not know, then you shall know it. Before you want someone else to smile at you, you shall learn to smile at yourself. Before you want others to think something of you, you shall build your own thought process.

Now, where would that help?
First of all, that void will be fulfilled.
Second thing, people will think of you, the way you will think of yourself. Do you have time, to think about others? No, you are always wondering what others are thinking of you. If you do not, then others also do not.
With our thoughts we create our aura and energy. Now, whatever we are thinking is getting reflected to others through our aura. People absorb same energy and they feel same what we are feeling.

So first of all build your own thought process about yourself. And then you will see how things are.

If you think you are valued and respected, you will more respect in people’s behaviour for yourself.
If you feel happy, people will see you as a happy person.
