What we give back in life is more important than what we have received.

I was looking at a candle and thought, why is this tiny candle important to us. Because it is giving us light when we are in dark. Does it matter, what it is made up of, who made it, or from where did it come? No, the only thing that matters to us, is what it is giving to us. Then I looked at the trees around and realized the same thing. We have many trees around in our society. Gulmohar, Amaltash, kachnaar, Mango, Chikoo, lemon, Curry leaves and many more and there are always so many people working on them, so that the trees can be in full bloom. Why are we working so hard on them? So that they can serve the purpose. So that they give what they give. Now, when we pluck a mango from a mango tree, do we think at that time, what all it has eaten? Like manure of cow dung, sand, etc? We just wash it and eat it and we love the tree for what it gives to us.

Why is this insight so important? We all focus so much on receiving that we forget about what we are giving. Whether it is about giving back to the world or in a relationship. We need to make sure we give back whatever we are here for or at least we need to make sure we give back love and kindness and whatever we need, we will receive that.

Look at what you are giving, look at what more you can give, whether it’s a relationship or life, you will always receive what you deserve or what you need. This life is a beautiful experience and it’s a complete experience when we learn to give with love. Without sharing the fruits, the tree fails its own purpose. So if we do not learn to give, we fail our own purpose.
