He came to me full of revenge because his wife had cheated on him. I asked him what would you get and he said that I would get satisfaction of she getting punished for her wrong doings. She would get punished and anyway she would get punished if she has done anything wrong, but what would you get? He thought for a while and said nothing. No! Let me tell you, you will get a tree of hatred and anger, which will keep burning you continuously. After that you will get another tree of guilt. All these things will damage your life completely. Revenge is a path of self destruction. His next question was, so should I let the sinner go!
I wanted to laugh but the biggest question is, haven’t we done any sin? Who hasn’t done any? Haven’t we lied? haven’t we cheated? Haven’t we done any wrong to anyone?
I did not say anything and I told him, you would spoil only your life. You will not get anything else. let time decides. It is not unfair to anyone. Universe takes care of everything on it’s own. He asked then what should he do? He should simply FORGIVE! How can I forgive a sinner? We can never decide who is a sinner and who is not. When we take a decision to forgive, we simply have to forgive unconditionally. We set ourselves free. It is the most difficult part of any pain. We go through any pain and then we forgive the person who has given us pain and yes it is not the virtue of a weak person. For this, we have to be really really strong.
He did what he promised but he started cursing himself for not doing anything (This was not forgiveness) But then he went through major health challenges in life and his wife took care of him. She did not sleep for months to support him and that time real forgiveness happened. That time he cried and said that i was praying to God that help me in forgiving her but inside I was cursing everything and everyone and this is how it happened.
Universe heard all as always. When we curse or bless, we do it to ourselves before we do it to someone else. So he suffered health issues. He asked energy to help him in forgiving her and he could do that too.
Let time decide. Let go and let god. You set yourself free. You be who you are.
