I love my twin daughters and I guess all parents love their children. One is very naughty and finds different things to do and after that, she feels happy. The second one is a little calm and less mischevious. One day the second one was sitting and said I am very sad. I asked her, why are you sad? She said that, just like that. Then the first one came running like an express and spilled a packet of beads around, which was almost making me upset. Then she started giggling and said that see, the floor looks so beautiful and colorful. It’s like diamonds everywhere. I smiled and said but now you have to clean it up. She dropped her face and smiled again and said ok! The second one looked sad and I asked her, why don’t you play with her? She said not feeling like. Has something happened and the answer was no. Then? Just like that, no fun in life. And the first one was already on another mission. I could hear her laugh, which means mission accomplished. But I realized, the first one was creating happiness and the second one was trying to find it.
We create happiness. We go for a holiday, we meet friends, we go out for dinner, shopping or anything. All the things we are doing is to feel happy. But in reality we are creating those moments to feel happy. We take pictures. That is also a way of storing that happiness and feeling happy again looking at them in the future. Yes, we all need to create happiness if we really want to be happy. If we are waiting for someone else to cheers us up, we will never feel happy. Because our happiness is decided by us.
Get up and take charge of your life. Your happiness. No one else has the duty to make you happy. Create it and you will find it everywhere.
