We all have faced various challenges in life. No one grows up without challenges. Even those, whose life looks like a smooth ride, when spoken to them, they share their struggles. I have seen small kids struggling, I have seen grown-ups struggling, I have seen people of various age groups going through challenges in life. And it has nothing to do with past life Karma also. They may come and affect us, still they are also designed to make us stronger. When Ram and Krishna were born, even they had to go through all the challenges. We cannot even think of the kind of challenges God himself had faced. He never said, being on earth mean a smooth ride.
Why do we have a challenge? Well, challenges help us in discovering ourselves. This Earth is a learning school for souls. When we face challenges, and we succeed, they are the lessons of life. That’s how we learn and grow. We grow as an individual, and we evolve as a soul.
Let’s imagine a life without a challenge. We know Ram was the incarnation of God, because of the challenges he had faced and the way he had fought. What if there were no situations? What if he just came and lived like a king, would we have believed that he was God? What about Krishna? Would we have believed that he was a God, without him killing kansa and guiding Arjuna’s chariot in Mahabharata? No, then they would have appeared like normal human beings. Their challenges made them who they are and we worship them. In the same way, our challenges will bring out the divinity inside us.
Why do I want to discuss these things here today? Somewhere the next generation is not trained to know that they are going to have challenges, and they will have to stay put through them. They have to be resilient, and they will not give up. They have to stay positive, and they have to focus on solving the situation rather than being struck in the fire. Every situation will solve. But we have to walk through that. We need to train our next generation on the solution rather than the problem and yes to bementally prepared that life is beautiful with all it’s challenges.
