We all were excited while packing for the holidays. We reached to Manali and then back. On the way back, we were so eager to reach back home. We were excited to go and we were eager to come back. On the way back one person said that, if I knew it is going to be such a long journey, I would have never asked for this place. We could have gone somewhere near by. One gentleman said that i want to become a very big business man and that was his beginning. After 10 years when he was a successful one, his first thought was what a journey and no one told me about this. He felt that as soon as he would start his business, he would be able to make big money.
Often we look at the beginning and the destination for anything but we forget the journey. Most of the times people quit because they are unable to go through the journey. The journey is always full of everything. Some good, some bad, some highs, some lows, some smiles and some tears. If we think, we would like to go through the journey, then only we shall choose that path. It is always the journey which is more important than the destination. One gentleman once said that I had decided to top the exams but I could not give those many hours to my study. Also, if you are not enjoying the journey, you will not enjoy the destination too. Because we are at the destination for a moment but it’s the journey which takes time.
Journey of life is same. We learn, unlearn, we grow in this journey only. Everyone waits for new life and celebrates the birth. That is there only for a moment but its the journey of the life which is more important. We shall start enjoying the journey itself. If we have forgotten to enjoy the journey right now, then the death itself would hold no meaning. This journey is beautiful with all its ups and downs. If it’s a plain journey, it is no fun. The fun is in having the complete experience. Take it as a part of the game in which we know that we can achieve more points by reaching to higher levels and overcoming bigger challenges. We enjoy the game because we know it in advance and we know that bigger levels would mean bigger achievement. However, in the game of life or journey of life, we are not aware of that. Let’s be aware now. Have faith that if you have challenges it means you are at higher level and even the rewards are going to be bigger. Enjoy this journey with faith. Reaching to the destination gives a satisfaction but the real excitement is in journey. It is like if we do not enjoy playing the game, there would be no satisfaction in the rewards of the game too. So if we are not enjoying playing the game of life or the journey of life, there would be no excitement of the destination too. Always choose your journey rather than destination. Journey makes us who we are.
So enjoy, have faith and live it.
