She was crying badly and I asked her the reason. She said that I have all the problems. To an outsider it appeared that she has a perfect life. She was in a high paying job, her husband always expressed love and cooperation. She was blessed with two beautiful children. Everything looked perfect but she was not happy. She said that I always have problems. So what looks perfect from outside may not be that perfect actually. I asked her what are your top 5 problems and she started laughing. She said that i can count many. Her husband did not have enough time to take her out on dinner date atleast once in a month, so it was always created fights between them, her elder son had to take admission in good college for his studies and many things like these. After that i asked her what are the top blessings and she could count three, her job, children and a big house they could afford. But you were able to count many problems why not blessings. after that next question was what are the top 5 things you would want to have in life and again she could count 2. She said I need only this much. My husband’s time and my children’s success.
Now, there are few things to be noticed:
1. Her focus was on problems
2. She lacked gratitude for what she had
3. She took what she had for granted
4. Her desires also came from the place of lack. rest all I have, these two things I do not have, so i want to have.
She might be sounding little over board but we all have an element of her. We all think of problems, we all want to talk about them and we focus too much on what we do not have (That too in comparison with others). We do not realize that more and more we focus upon what we do not have or the problems, more we are strengthening it and more it would be happening in our life. Our focus gives energy. Our focus gives energy even to the God we are worshiping. Most of the religion talks about same. The God is strengthened because of our faith.
So if we really want to have a desired life, we want to have what we desire, we need to think, talk, focus more and more about what we desire, what we are blessed with, what we want and we would see things changing. So shall we start?

How would your life be if you have those things
