He was born in a family where meeting ends was difficult. He decided that he would earn lots of money and would do anything to improve his situation. He studied hard. He felt that to become successful, he had to learn to speak English and for that, he needs to study. So he studied. And also, he started requesting everyone to teach him business. He had only one motto, I want to earn. At the age of 28, he started his own business and then a school. One day, a local news paper reporter asked him about his journey and he shared that he never cursed his circumstances. The things were difficult and it felt like there were other children who were more privileged than him and they had all the resources but these circumstances forced him to do better everytime.
He also shared a story. Two neighbours planted some saplings in their yard. One gave them enough water and manure, so that they could grow fast and they did. The second one gave just enough to survive. His plants looked small and were growing very slowly. But when the storm came, the first one’s plants were uprooted and the second one’s plants were safe and strong. The first one asked the reason. The second one explained that, when I did not give them lots of resources, they developed their own strength and roots and they could face the storm.
All the circumstances are designed to make us better. To make us stronger. Without them, we would not have been who we are. We have travelled this journey and have come out as a better person. Let’s say, a Jeweller will make a beautiful jewel by hitting it, picking it, using all his tools. If he wants a very beautiful one, his work would increase. The same way, God has worked more on us, has worked harder if we have faced more trying times. But the purpose has been to make us more beautiful or may be we needed more work.
Do not curse or feel victim in life. Things happen and things happen with everyone. Know that, the journey you are travelling is very beautiful and every hardship is worth it. It will make you a very beautiful fine jewel. If you want to be one, why to be afraid of a chisel.
