I get this question again and again. One gentleman had used office funds to finance his trip. To justify that he had created office work at that place. He was feeling little bad because he did so and was trying to justify that he did office work also. What’s wrong in that?
I asked him if he thought there was nothing wrong, why was he discussing that? Why he was justifying what he did?
Deep inside he knew what he was doing. He chose to act on one bad instinct.
So what is good and what is bad?
We do not need any third person judge of that. Both are inside us. We know what is good and what is bad. We all have that Universal guidance system. God created both good and bad around us and inside us. We need to make a choice and our choices make us who we are.
Because there is a contrast, so we know what is good and bad. We can compare and we know it. If there was no contrast, it would have been difficult for us to know. When someone does a bad thing we know it. Similarly, when we do a wrong thing we know it. We all have that conscience. We need to choose the right thing. It is not about the result in the future. It is about what shall be done. How would we feel if someone else has done something bad to us? We would definitely feel bad. Why do we want someone else to go through the pain which we would not like to have?
Be good and do good and good shall always return. Keep your conscience clear.
