In the middle of Life’s most challenging crisis she did not know where to look forward to. She did not have any money to pay, she did not know whom to ask for. She was ready to work, but she did not find anyone who would pay her. She was wheel chair bound so the options were limited. She wondered if next month she would stay in same house or not. How would she pay her rent. She was an artist and never felt short of money in life but met an accident some 8-9 months back and she wondered how would she manage. Uptil now she had been managing some how. She had some savings and sometimes she got home sit assignments too. Together she could manage things. But this coming month was different. She had no money to pay her rent. She wondered how would she live. She did not have parents and no one else could support her. She was crying and surrendered to God. She said that I have been trying to fight and I cannot fight any more. I am in your hands. Do whatever you want to do with me. If you want to take me through this pain, then take me. I know you are holding my hand and I am doing fine in every situation. Such was her bravery even after being wheel chair bound. Even after losing her walking power, she did not complaint. She kept her faith intact. Another week passed and nothing happened. She kept praying and asked God to stay by her side. 10th day one gentleman called up and said that he wants her to take care of his new school. He had seen her paintings and he wanted her to teach that in the school. She explained him her wheel chair condition and how she could not be there. He thought for a while and said that he has a room there at the center and she could stay there. She agreed and she wondered if this was the solution. Yes, she was safe and she did not have to worry about her bills any more. She said that though it had not been easy but it was all worth travelling this journey.
I am not saying that we will not face life challenges when we have faith that God is holding our hand. We would. Infact God himself had a very challenging life when he was here. Whether it was Rama, Krishna or Jesus. But sailing through those times become easy. So when we were talking about this, what is God here? You just say that please be with me and he is there. Well the answer is not that one liner. He is anyway always there. When you say please be with me, you realize he is there and he is taking care of you. Or you can also say, he is your own highest divine power. So when you call upon him, you become one with him or you access your own highest power which anyway had always been there. It is not ego, it is your own love. Either way, it is the realization that he is there and taking care of you. It is to realize you are never alone. It is to realize you will sail through everything in life. It is to understand that yes, you are being taken care of. It is to know that whatever is happening is for your own highest interest. It is to have the faith that you are in safe hands.
