He was 25 years old and he did not know what he could do. His parents had died and he grew up as an orphan. But one thing he knew that he did not like the way everyone talked to him. he wondered how he should talk so that they could feel better. he had never seen someone talking with love with him. So he met a doctor in a park and he asked what could he do? The doctor took him to an old age home and asked him if he could do something to bring some magic in their lives. The gentleman knew what he had to do. He sat with each one of them and spoke to them with lots of love. At the end of the day, everyone was laughing and happy. The doctor knew that it was the compassion of his words that had created that magic.
Words can make us or break us. The same thing goes for everyone else. Words can make them or break them. Choose your words with love. Choose your words that can create more love. Sometimes, we may not have many things to give, we may not have many resources to give, but we would always have some kind words.
Even if there is a beggar on the street, he/she also needs some kind words. We may not give them anything, but we may talk to them with love. And if we give them something, we shall give that with love. Everyone needs that and everyone deserves that.
The compassion of speech, everyone needs. Whether we have money or not. Even the richest of all need the compassion of speech. We need to learn to talk with love. With kids, with elders, with our peers, with the people we are paying to, with the domestic staff, with the people we meet on road, with the people who come to us for help. Everyone is looking for some compassion.
Build that compassion of speech. It will not cost anything but it will fill up your life with love and peace.
