I met a gentleman who was a big businessman. He had worked hard and earned a lot of money. In his free time which he made sure he had everyday, he would go and serve people. Sometimes he would spend with old people, sometime in an orphanage, sometimes serving the ills and in many more ways. I asked him that what makes him do all this and he said that the purpose is love and light. Made me wonder what did he mean by that?
He said that all his life he had a quest to find God and he felt he found but what did he get by finding God is more important. So he found God but then God is in everyone. So until he hasn’t found everyone, he hasn’t found God too.
So to find God truly, he has started serving people. He could not serve people until he had love for them. When he reached to them with love, he brought lots of light in their lives. He said that he could see how their eyes lit up when he started spending time with them with love. Since he started coming here, he actually felt he found God.
So when we say we have to find God, we can’t find God anywhere else. We need to find God in everyone and everything. We need to accept this whole creation with love and bring light into everything that’s where we truly find God. So he said that he has chosen this path by seving people but the purpose is love and light.
Moreover, purpose of every soul born here is love and light. How we decide to bring that here, to experience that is our choice. The path can be different but the purpose is same. The destination is same. The mean to reach there can be different too. But the purpose is love and light.
