Taking someone’s support does not mean you are weak.

So many of us have this. I do not need anyone’s help. I can do it alone. This belief has been built over many things. Maybe we were turned down in past. Maybe someone helped and said so many a times. There could be many things. Sometimes we have been taunted or sometimes we have heard from our elders. That if you take help, you become weak. it means you were inefficient. There are many things which support such thought process philosophically. Like you have to fight your own battle etc. You have to fight it alone. BUt we do not have to. We get so much help, all around us which we do not realize. may be some powers above or God, they all are helping. But we do not realize. However, if someone is in front, we feel obligated. But if we keep our ego aside and take it as take it as a thing to be grateful for, we can see it from a different perspective. Yes, that’s true God does not show he helped us but it does not mean, we do not feel grateful for.

Let’s take an example. What’s the benefit of taking help and how it increases our strength. Let’s say, you have to travel a few thousand miles and you have to drive it yourself. Do you think you can do it alone and even if you do it, how long would it take? You would need rest also in between. But you have a companion, who drives for sometime when you need rest, you can drive at a much quicker pace and still, you would feel better. Is it because you are less efficient? or is it because having a help is giving you an edge?

If you need help take it, ask for it and be grateful for it that it’s there. God has to help you, in what may form. It could be in an invisible form or sometimes in visible form. We can be grateful in either of the cases.
