Take a break from your thought process. Relax!

One lady called up. She said that she was always tired. She had tried doing nothing and resting, still, she was always tired.

So when we started discussing, I asked her, when was the last time, she had gone for a holiday and she shared few. So it was not that she had not taken any holiday. But then, I realized she was always thinking and worrying about something. Her kids were grown up, she had enough staff to take care of things at home and she was always wondering. So if everything was in place and done, her next worry was, how to keep her staff busy with work. They sensed it and slowed down and then she was further irritated. If those things were not causing any worry, then how her husband treated her 10 years back. If that thing was ok, then her 20 years old son was not listening to her much. How would he act after getting married? She was always worried and thinking. Even when she went for a holiday, she never stopped thinking.

How does it work?
Let’s say, we get fix units of energy every day. We can consume them physically or internally. Internally includes energy consumed by our body organs ( when we are sick, we have less strength as the body is using energy internally to fight infection or illness) or we use this energy in our thoughts. Negative thoughts use energy and positive thoughts create energy in the body. When we are happy, we are so full of energy, when we are stressed, we feel so exhausted. Now, it depends on us, if we have used energy internally so much, we would have little left for physical usage.

So she was using all the energy in her thoughts by constantly worrying. What she needed to do was to stop her mental processing. She worried when she slept and that’s why she never work up full of energy. So she first had to start sleeping with positive thoughts (I feel the best way is to feel the gratitude before going to bed for all good and good life and everything. Count your blessings before going to bed). Slowly she started changing the way she was thinking and she started giving a break to herself. When she started taking a break, she could give to others too. They also could relax. After that, she learned to enjoy just being herself. She started enjoying sitting outdoors too.

Slowly, she recovered and felt healthier.
