What is status? Merriam Webster has few definition of status :
a : position or rank in relation to others b : relative rank in a hierarchy of prestige; especially : high prestige
2: the condition of a person or thing in the eyes of the law
3: state or condition with respect to circumstances
Today’s view point is about the first one. Sometimes your financial status is in your hands and sometimes it is not. Sometimes, you just do not work hard enough. Sometimes you may work hard enough but you may not work in a correct manner. But yes this thing is fro sure, if you decide something and put your sincere and focused efforts no one can stop you to reach to the status you want to.
The money comes and goes. Most of the billionaires in this world are self made as per statistics. However, the big question is why people are judged on the basis of their financial status. Would you like to be with a person, who owns millions but immoral as per you?
I am sure you would respect a person who is honest but does not have great financial worth. Every one is equal and treat everyone equally. If someone is lifting weights to earn the living even he deserves equal respect as he is earning his living honestly without giving up on life.
You think yourself of higher status and try to throw around weight on poors however, you get intimidated when you see someone who has higher financial worth. let me tell you, you treat people on the lower side equally and you will be able to treat yourself equally for the other half too. You are responsible for own treatment because you change your preferences.
You cannot judge a person on the basis of what he owns, in fact we have no right to judge anyone. However, always believe in what a person is not what he has.
