Here we go again. Why gratitude? But I am still learning. Everyday more and more about being grateful, sometimes when i am, sometimes when i am not, sometimes, when my ego gets shattered, sometimes, when I see someone else, sometimes just by thinking, sometimes just in prayers and then I realize, I am still learning to be grateful. I always reach to a conclusion that we can never be enough grateful. Because, if we are breathing, every breath needs to be grateful for.
This is too small, to say we shall be thankful for what we have received. Of course we shall be, after all this is basic manner. But we shall feel thankful rather than saying thank you.
But it goes beyond that. Even if it is testing time, it is something to be grateful for. If we are eating, we are able to eat, if we have hunger we have a reason to be grateful for.
If we have food, if we can share, if we have someone for whom we can share, if someone else accepted what we were giving then feel grateful. It not about you gave, it is about you were able to give, feel happy and grateful.
If you are happy then be grateful. believe me, if we are not happy, it means we are not grateful, we have ignored the blessing in that moment , we have ignored the reason to exist, we have not seen the divine inside us.
When we are alive, we shall be grateful. Why, because being alive means, divine is inside us, it is working through us, breathing through us, experiencing through us, we are a portal for divine work if we are alive, even if we are not doing anything we feel is divine, atleast we know he is present inside us and we have an opportunity to give him way through us to spread divinity.
It is endless, it is never ending, everyday one more layer is peeled off and it goes further deep, it gets into one more layer, everyday it is about being more and more grateful, not because we know it, or we should be, but because this is who we are. We are nothing without divine support, we can do nothing without his will, we can do nothing without his presence inside us, we will not be even alive without him, then who we are, no ego, let’s simply be grateful for who we are.
