Met a gentleman and he welcomed with a beautiful smile. We were in a park and he talked about good things of everyone around. He appreciated the weather and how government was trying to provide fresh air to all of us by maintaining such parks, how people were happy, how they were trying to do best in their lives, how kids were cute and funny and lively and everything else. Sitting with him was such a treat. After sometime, I asked him, do you see only positive in others, you do not see any negative? He smiled and asked, what do you want to see? I know what he meant. He continued. He said that we all have good and bad both. We all want to be good and good to be seen. We do not want to see our own darkness. I am not saying, we shall see our own darker side and be aware of that. we all are aware of that. However, the challenge is to see good and see good in everyone and everything. This will bring out further good. So it is upto me what do I want to see? Everything has a good side.
He shared another story. He said that his wife was very angry and made very bad dinner. But he was really grateful that she cared for him so much that though she was angry and did not feel like doing anything, she still made an effort. In such times, intensity of efforts increases.
A day is not completed without having both day and night. In this Universe, everything is like this. Without having darker side, even the Universe will not be completed. That dark side also is a part of the Universe. So it depends on us, what we want to see, be happy, appreciate it, and be grateful for it. It is like the better side exist because there is a darker side. ram became a hero because Ravan was there. Goodness is there because the bad things are there. So learn to see the light and you will be able to embrace whole Universe. If you will focus on darkness, you will not be able to accept this whole Universe. How can you like someone, when you will see only bad things. You can like someone, when you will know good things in that person. So, to like and accept this Universe, see the light everywhere and in everyone.
