Everyone has different meaning of success and it cannot mean same to everyone. We set our own parameters and we follow them. We decide where do we want to reach to be successful. Success is different for everyone, however, what does not change is few rules which everyone needs to follow to be successful. Whatever might be the journey, spiritual or worldly. Whatever might be the goal, rules of the game are same. You cannot reach there, if you do not abide by these rules.
I cannot say that no one can reach to the top in the first try, however, at some point of the time we all face hurdles like failure. There are different kinds of people, one, who give p on the first or second failure, second who get complacent with the little success and the successful ones are those who do not give up. The one who gives up on the first failure mostly have two reasons, either they have a very big ego which cannot let them accept failure or very low in self confidence as they feel they can never achieve, they have no skills or anything. They do not remember that everyone is born same, how you travel your journey matters most. They think these are the things which look good in a book, however, those books are also written by someone with personal experiences. Then we have the ones who get complacent, generally they keep comparing themselves with others always, they think, yes I am ok, I am like everyone else, its fine, not everyone reaches there and so on…when you compare yourself with others, you disrespect yourself most. When someone else does it, we do not like it and when inside us we do it, we feel satisfied, not fair. The one who reaches to the top are the ones, who keep setting different mile stones and do not give up on failures as they learn from them. Failures give you experience and make you wiser.
You need to understand, failure is a hurdle not the end. Suppose you are going to Mumbai from Delhi via road and you see lots of speed breakers, do you sit there on the road when you see those speed breakers, no it might slow down your car but it will not let you sit there. Failures might slow you down but they should not let you sit there or else you would never reach to Mumbai. It’s never a failure, it’s just a speed breaker in your journey, infact we can delete this word from our dictionary because it’s just a breaker not failure.
