Yesterday my friend came home and who was smiling and happy all the time. It is nice to see someone happy but when someone is smiling so much there has to be certain reason. So I asked her and she said nothing like that. I insisted and she shared. She has a 7 months old baby and she bought some baby food. Her baby did not like the taste, so she gave whole packet to her maid to share with her neighbor who has a 6 months baby. The maid came back and shared that her neighbors are very happy and they have sent thanks. They have also said that this is the first time they feel their baby is so full and sleeping so peacefully. Hearing this my friend ordered five more packets of baby food and sent for her maid’s neighbor. She said that, it’s nothing big just that since she had done that she is feeling so happy, so grateful that she could do and she is smiling whenever she is thinking of them. Whenever she is thinking that how they would feel, how baby would be and all that. Infact she has been smiling since then!
So beautiful and so nice!
Yes the feeling of giving is always above feeling of receiving. Receiving is important and gives us happiness and pleasure. But when we give we feel something has changed in our soul. We are taught to give but we are also taught to set expectations while giving. Now, when we have expectations, we lose the pleasure of giving because we are stuck on the result and if that does not happen as per what we had decided, we start feeling bad. However, when we give or help someone unconditionally, we really live that moment of giving. One random act gives us the real experience of giving.
So what do we want to do today?
