No one is immortal. Do your best with love so that you can walk out with love.

Let’s take an example. One guest comes to your house and lives peacefully and happily with everyone. He helps everyone. talks good about everyone. Is grateful for the abode you shared with him. Does his best to contribute to the housework also. When the person would leave, what would be your reaction? You may cry or you will bid farewell with love. You will always wait for him to come back. Or if he comes back, you would be welcoming him happily with love.

But then there is another gentleman. He is rude, does bad things, not helping anyone in the house, not doing any work or if he is doing he is doing bad things. He does not desire well of the people. He also acts like he is your house permanent member. What would be your reaction? You would want him to leave as soon as possible. You would pray he never comes back.

Now, this world is same. It’s God’s home. It is not our home. The first mistake we do is, we feel we are here forever. Then we come here and start breaking things down. We do not fulfill our duties. We plot bad things. We do not live peacefully. We do not do many things we know we shall be doing. How do we know what all shall we do? Somehow, we all have heard such good things from scriptures, from elders, in the school. We have received that training. We know deep down, what is good and what is bad. Still, we try to break all the rules forgetting that we are here temporarily. Death is inevitable.

Ok, let’s say we don’t know what would happen after death, we do not know if there is a God, we do not know if there is a hell or heaven, we do not know if there is a karmic repercussion, but at least we know we all have to die. We know there is something which is managing everything. There is some power which guides and helps everyone. So why we still do bad things, why we still create a mess. Why do we not live peacefully with love?
