So many times I stress on this thing that we are born to be loved and to spread love and any deviation from that takes us away from self only. And it would be true for anytime or any generation that whenever we are going away from self, we do not like it and we start losing life. We miss love so much that we do not like self when we are away from love. Few days back, one client called me up, who had recently parted his ways with his love, said that, more than being with her I miss being in love as it gives you an opportunity to care for someone, to love someone to depend on someone. Who says, we are selfish, we want to give and we want to give whole heartedly, just that we start getting deviated and we start diluting love. The way we are brought up and conditioned we start putting conditions. Whether its parents, its friends and eventually we put these conditions on self also. Then we grow up and we put these conditions on the person whom we want to spend life with. Not fair and we name them as expectations.
So many times I am being asked this question in my trainings that we are asked to give, to think of others, and I always stress on self and loving the self unconditionally. Now my first question is, can you give to others what you do not have? If you do not have unconditional love how can you give it to others? First you need to love yourself and quench your thirst and then it would spread. Now it is not about vanity or ego. If you love yourself on basis of conditions like I have achieved so much, I am proud of myself and now everyone else should do same, then excuse me, its ego and vanity not love. Love is above all this, its the flow of life. I am good and so everyone else is. Everyone is a part of me. I am created by this existence. I am here to spread love. The reservoir is inside you..the reservoir of love. You need to love yourself unconditionally as this is what the small child inside needs you and then this child will grow to spread that love. If your heart is full of love, it will spread that love in all directions unconditionally. This is all what we need. This is all what we are born for.
