Yesterday, I received a call from an old lady. She was crying as her son had given her account of how much he has spent in last couple of years on her. Why this came up now, as she had won a property case and she was receiving huge amount of money. I could understand a mother’s pain. So I asked her, what were her plans for that money? She shared that she had a daughter also and vaguely she mentioned that she wanted to give some to her daughter too. So her son, who was planning to have all the money, gave her an account of how much he had spent on her. I told her, not to be scared of anyone and infact she didn’t have to give anything to anyone and she could use that money for herself till the time she was alive and later on, let her kids handle as they want.
But this conversation reminded me of my parents and how much they have done for us. Being a parent now, I know it more. When i was pregnant with twins, some complications happened and I was given an injection to keep it stable every week. that time, first time my mother told me, in her last month when she was pregnant with me, she was given this painful injection everyday. Gave me goosebumps! So many things we don’t even know which our parents have done for us silently and even behind the scene. When I was feeling so grateful for my parents and every parents, then suddenly what came rushing was, so many times people directly and indirectly support us. Sometimes, someone’s smile on the road has lifted us and showed us light. My heart is filled with gratitude for all those who have given me light when I am in dark or even when i am in light, to continue the light. The list will always be endless because so many I won’t even know. Like doctor who supported my mothers pregnancy, participants in the training, people who have served me water while visiting somewhere. Everywhere we go, we have a support system ready. So it’s countless and infinite. With a big heart I want to thank all, and my parents, all who have been there, taking care of me, been with me, love me, serve me, hold me, smile with me, cry with me, even curse with me when I was mad at someone (Some special friends), who have been reading my blog as this is motivating me to write everyday, Universe in supporting me everyday, everyone…
