You goto temple, you go to Jungle and you travel the whole world to find the truth. But you never find the truth and you feel you have wasted so many years of your life. I met someone who said had been going to some ashrams etc and now he feels he has wasted 20 years of his life. Why do people say this? First thing they use it as an escape. Escape from the problems and life. Second thing is using it as a facade or let’s say status or fashion. Sometimes I have seen people feeling proud of the facts that oh, I am associated with so and so guru. But you know there is no truth bigger than you. You are the biggest truth. There is nothing beyond you and if you do not believe in yourself you will not be able to believe in anything else too. Even if God comes and tells you that he is God you will not believe because you do not know yourself, how would know god? Once you know yourself, you will know there is No god other than you, you are one with the God and then everyone is God for you. Then there is no difference between you and God or god and anyone else. There wouldn’t be any you or I then, it would just be consciousness and that is the real truth.
